Korean Air swoops up 3 new planes

Korean Air, Korea’s largest carrier, will buy three more Airbus SAS A380 superjumbos, valued at as much as $906 million, to meet travel demand and cut fuel costs.The airline will exercise purchase options agreed on when it orders five A380s in 2003, according to an e-mailed statement from the Seoul-based company today. The planes from the latest order will be delivered from 2012 to 2013.Bloomberg
